so much more complicated than it use to be. Wht was wrong just simply pressing the button u wanna program and pushing the learn button?
I just installed a MyQ 3/4 HP with battery backup. The opener came with 2 openers which would not code to my customers 6 month old Chamberlain. Also his 3 button remotes would not code to the new opener. The model # of the new remotes had STD for the last 3 digits.I called Chamberlain and they said they would send the remotes with EV as the last 2 digits.
helpful video although on the newer versions of this (and by new I don’t mean made after 1993 as the video indicates lol) I hit the main button on my remote, then the learn button, then the main button again…that’s all. The light flashed to indicate it has learned the remote and I was all set.
