How can I fill the seams in the garage floor concrete?
The garage floor is six pieces of concrete with seams or cracks in between. Dirt gets in the cracks. I want to fill those cracks with something to make the surface level. What should I use? I also want to paint or seal the garage floor later.

How To Repair Garage Floor Pitting
Most garages get a lot of abuse, considering the fact that many of us park our cars in the garage and store heavy tools and machinery in there. Because of this, the cement floor of the garage may begin to appear pitted and worn. It is important to keep the floor looking its best. Remember that if you should ever go to sell the home, having beautiful flooring will increase its value. If you are currently dealing with this problem, you may want to know how to repair garage floor pitting. The repairs can be done by yourself, without needing a professional present. Remember that repairing is a more inexpensive option when compared with replacing the entire garage floor.
Most garage floors are cement and so they are relatively easy to break into with a hammer and chisel. Pick these tools up from your local hardware store. By placing the chisel on the floor, cut out the pit by removing a squared section from the concrete. Make sure to clean up after you are finished so that there is no loose concrete or debris on the flooring. Next, you will need to use a concrete bonding agent and brush this liquid into the squared-off hole. Be sure to coat the entire bottom of the hole as well as the sides.
The very next step requires concrete. There are many different concrete brands and mixtures on the market to choose from. Be sure to pick one that you are comfortable using. In most cases, you will need to pour water onto the concrete and wait at least 24 hours before the mixture hardens. Once you’ve chosen the concrete of choice, be sure to read all of the label instructions so that you mix it properly. Fill the entire square hole with this mixture until there is a slight mound on top. Use a smoothing trowel to evenly cut away any excess concrete so that it blends perfectly with the existing flooring.
In order to add texture to the floor, a wet mop can be used while the concrete is still wet. For most mixtures, you will need to wait at least 24 hours before it dries completely. Avoid parking your car or using the garage floor until the spot has dried. Once completed, you may be surprised at how beautiful your floor looks without the expense of replacing it all together.
